From the light touch of the individual notes of a melody, the lush harmonies of notes working together, all the way to songcraft, structure and form, lyricism, and final arrangements. This is a workshop geared towards songwriters that are interested in understanding more about their craft, but is wholly designed to be understood by individuals that would like to enter into songwriting, or simply gain a much deeper critical understanding of songs they love, by any artist. 

Our key goals are to identify and understand all of the components one would encounter in songwriting/composition in a way that is easily understood by all experience levels. 

Participants will be encouraged to take the tools learned each week to compose. There will be time for instructor feedback during each session.
